Dr. Robert Zimmerman is Director of the Vascular Access Center at Scarborough Surgery Center of Maine Medical Center. He is an interventional and general nephrologist. Additional areas of clinical interest include evaluation and management of glomerular diseases, hypertension, and acute kidney injury. He completed his internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine.
